The other passenger riding alongside the blind driver –a photographer and owner of the car– was also 'drunk blinded' |
|
|
A blind French guy, who works as a journalist, was given one month jail sentence and a 500 Euro fine for driving drunk and without a licence putting other people’s life at risk.
It all happened in a not very busy regional road in Nancy, northeast of France, at three in the morning last July 25th, when the gendarmes noticed a car slowly zigzagging along.
The owner of the car, a 52-year-old photographer and friend of the blind driver, stated that he was acting as co-pilot with one hand holding the handbrake and the other on the steering wheel.

The fishing rod marketed by the Barbie doll company, is becoming a sure bet.
A few weeks ago, David Hayes, in Elkin, North Carolina, USA, caught such a big fishing trophy using a pink Barbie rod and reel that he’ broken a record.
The animal is a 21-pound and 32 inches long catfish. That’s 2 inches longer than the rod itself, property of little Alyssa –the lucky fisherman’s granddaughter.
Both, girl and grandfather, were fishing in the pond behind his house; the little girl went to the bathroom and granddad stayed holding the rod.
