MOSQUITO, A CD of Mosquito Tone Recordings

A CD has been launched on the market composed of songs that use "mosquito tone", that sound only people under 20-years old can hear. It’s an album just for young people.

The "Mosquito" album cover
The "Mosquito" album cover
Have you ever heard of mosquito tone? It’s a high-pitched sound that’s similar to the buzzing noise mosquitos make. They say this tone is rather annoying for people under 20 but, the older you get, the less you hear it. In Japan, they use mosquito tone to keep teenagers away from parks and parking lots so they won’t cause a raucous and bother the neighbors.

Write in the air with LED lights
Write in the air with LED lights
No doubt you’ve played at drawing in the air by moving a lit cigarette or a flashlight around in the dark. The result is an almost magical light composition. Yet it’s so ephemeral that it loses all its charm. Imagine recreating this scene and being able to photograph your compositions?

halo was invented by French designer Aissa Logerot and it’s a spray can that can make LED light drawings in the air.
